Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi attended the handover ceremony for China’s donation of medical kits to Nepal on Sunday.
In the ceremony, Ambassador Yanqi exchanged views with Minister for Health and Population of Nepal Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal on the joint prevention and control of COVID-19.
China Beijing Municipal Trade and Commerce Bureau has donated 2,000 test kits to Nepal to combat the global pandemic of COVID-19.
The test kits are worth 30,000 U.S. dollars. China has also offered to provide necessary medical equipment in grant.
