Collective Campaign for Peace (COCAP), a network of 43 peace and human rights non-governmental organisations, has urged the government to hold talks with the protesting Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) at the earliest and resolve the problems.
The COCAP in its statement today stated that banning the CPN without talks efforts has put the people in fear as the party has started violent activities across the country by carrying out explosions, arson attacks and vandalism.
The people’s elected government should take any decision through a democratic way, read the statement.
