Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota left here for Barcelona, Spain today to take part in the Mobile Congress, 2019 to be held there from February 25 to 27.
The Congress is organised by the Global System for Mobile Communications and Minister Banskota will be attending a ministerial level program of the event, according to a statement issued by the Ministry here today. The event is regarded significant in terms of policy development in the telecommunications sector and sharing of experiences.
During the event, Minister Banskota will also hold discussion with ministers and distinguished delegates of various countries on matters of bilateral and multi-lateral interest and cooperation, adds the statement.
