Kathmandu, April 16
Kallesari Rest Home- Community Centre, constructed with funding from Japanese Government, was handed over to the user committee.
Former Education Minister and Chairperson of Himalaya Conservation Group Nepal (HCG) Dr. Ganga Lal Tuladhar and Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masashi Ogawa on Sunday jointly handed the key of the community center to the local user committee.
The Grassroots Security Project under the Himalaya Conservation Group Nepal constructed the community center with Japanese aid of Rs 8.5 million.
According to Japanese Embassy in Nepal, the community center handed over to the user committee has a big hall, two store rooms, a meeting room, one office and a toilet.
The locals can utilize the building for different purposes as per their needs.
