CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the constitution could be amended if it was beneficial for people and country.
In a press meet organized by Press Chautari Nepal and Press Centre Banke Sunday leader Nepal, also the former Prime Minister, said that amendment in the constitution was a normal process as it was a progressive document.
On another note, he added that there were some signs of feudalism in the country and it should be abolished to lead the country on the way to prosperity. He further stressed on purification in each organization of both (UML and CPN-Maoist Centre) before the unification.
