Coronavirus death toll crosses 211,200 globally with over 3 million infected

With Coronavirus wreaking havoc across the world, the death toll from the novel virus has climbed to 211, 202 after 4, 287 people died in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday morning.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 65, 819 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 3,059, 081.

Currently, 1,928, 133 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 56, 281 are critical.

Meanwhile, 919, 746 have recovered after treatment.

America, the worst-hit in terms of both deaths and infection cases, has reported deaths  56, 649 after 1, 236 died in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday morning.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 20, 883 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 1,008, 043.

Currently, 812, 655 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which the condition of 14, 175 is critical.  Meanwhile, 137, 739 have recovered after treatment.

New York is the worst-hit with 22, 612 deaths followed by New Jersey and Michigan with 6, 044 and 3, 407 deaths, respectively.

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had declared Coronavirus a Public Health Emergency on January 31 in the US.

Italy, the second worst-hit country in terms of deaths, has 333 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total to 26, 644 death as of Tuesday morning.

The number of infection cases in the country has reached 199, 414 after 1,739 new cases were reported, the third highest in terms of infection cases, after Spain and America, according to Worldometer.

Currently, 105,813 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 19, 56 are critical. Meanwhile, 66,624 have recovered after treatment.

Spain has the second highest number of infection cases with 229, 422 after the United States of America (USA).

The country reported 2, 793 infection cases, 331 deaths in the last 24 hours. A total of 23, 521 have died due to the novel virus as of Tuesday morning.

Currently, 85, 069 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7,764 are critical.

Meanwhile, 120, 832 have recovered after treatment.

The United Kingdom (UK) has reported 21, 092 deaths after 360 died in the lasts 24 hours as of Tuesday morning.

According to Worldometer,  the number of infection cases has surged to 157, 149 after 4, 309 new cases were reported.

Currently, 135, 713 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.

France has reported 437 deaths in the last 24 hours taking to death toll to 23, 293 deaths as of Tuesday morning.

According to reports, the number of infection cases has surged to 162, 100 after 3, 742 died in a single day.

Currently, 97, 036 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 4, 608 are critical. Meanwhile, 45, 513 have returned home after recovery.

India has reported 939 deaths and 29, 451 from Coronavirus as of Tuesday morning.

Currently, 21, 375 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 7, 137 have returned home after recovery. The India government has performed tests on 665,819 people for Coronavirus so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 211,202 and infecting 3,059,081 people as of Tuesday morning.
