Currently, 2,405, 378 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 47, 040 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,490,496 have recovered after treatment.
America, the worst-hit in terms of both deaths and infection cases, has reported 720 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total to 80, 787 as of Monday morning.
According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 19, 444 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 1,366,753.
Currently, 1,030, 342 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which 16,493 are critical. Meanwhile, 255, 654 have recovered after treatment.
New York is the worst-hit with 26, 812 deaths followed by New Jersey and Massachusetts with 9,264 and 4,979 deaths, respectively.
The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had declared Coronavirus a Public Health Emergency on January 31 in the US.
Italy has reported 165 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 30,560 as of Monday morning.
The number of infection cases in the country has reached 219, 070 after 802 new cases were reported, the third highest in terms of infection cases, after Spain and America, according to Worldometer.
