The death toll from the coronavirus has climbed to 4,027 as the deadly virus continued its march across the world.
As many as 3,136 people died in China alone, the epicenter of the coronavirus, while 889 died in 22 different countries outside China.
A total of 46, 284 people have been undergoing treatment in different 113 countries, currently.
Out of 114, 299 people admitted to hospitals following infection, 63, 990 have fully recovered and returned home.
Italy has been worst hit next to China. A total of 463 people have died in Italy.
According to a report, Italy’s army chief has also tested positive for coronavirus. As many as 9, 172 people have been infected with the virus in Italy so far.
Meanwhile, the Italian government has quarantined 16 million people after the novel virus caused a heavy toll on the country.
Similarly, 237 have died in Iran and 7,161 have been infected with the virus.
South Korea has reported 53 deaths and 7,478 people have been infected.
Likewise, the deadly virus has claimed 30 people each in France and Spain and 26 people have died in America due to the virus according to the report.
