India recorded 211,553 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 27,367,935.
Currently, 2,426,658 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 24,626,014 have returned home after treatment.
Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 315,200-mark.
With 3,842 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 315,263, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.
Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,511,531 and infected 169,056,817 globally until the filing of this news.
