Death toll in China reaches 4, 632 with 1, 290 new deaths

China which lifted its 76-day-long lockdown nine days ago has reported 1,290 new deaths on Friday morning.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 1,290 new deaths, the number of death toll in the country has reached 4,632.

Similarly, with 397 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 82,692.

Currently, 116 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Wuhan City, of which 27 (23%) are normal while the condition of 89 (77%) is critical.

A total of 77, 944 (94%) have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances globally, killing 145, 443 and infecting 2,180,741 as of Friday morning.

Currently, 1,488,284 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 56,602 are critical. Meanwhile, 57,508 have recovered after treatment.
