Spain, the second worst-hit in terms of deaths, has reported 747 new deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 14, 792 in the country with 6, 278 new cases as of Thursday morning.
With the new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 148, 220 – the second highest after the USA.
Currently, 85, 407 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country, of which 7, 069 are critical. Meanwhile, 48, 021 have recovered after treatment.
Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 209 countries including two international conveyances across the world.
The novel virus has killed 88, 334 and infected 1,509,678 people globally as of Thursday morning.
