With the increasing cases of COVID-19, the government has decided to halt domestic flight services in the country starting Monday.
A cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to ban all domestic flight services from today and reduce the number of international flights on the recommendation of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC).
With this decision, all the domestic flight services will remain shut from today midnight, according to the Civil Aviation Authority Nepal (CAAN).
Similarly, the cabinet has also decided to ban the entry of passengers coming to Nepal making India, Brazil, and South Africa as transit points. It will come into force from Wednesday (May 5).
