The International Cricket Council or ICC has recognized the second edition of the Ruslan Dhangadhi Premier League that is taking place here from March 31.
The ICC Senior Cricket Operation Manager has sent a letter informing that the ICC has notified all of its members of the recognition given to the Ruslan DPL-2, according to a statement issued by Dhangadi Cricket Academy here today.
The recognition by ICC does not only open the door to recruit international cricketers but also promote the domestic tournament at the international level, adds the statement signed by Academy Chair Subash Shahi.
A total of six clubs are taking part in the tournament that involves first prize money of Rs. 2. 5 million while the second and third team will walk home with Rs. One million and Rs. 300,000 respectively.
