Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Banskota, said that now time has come to end discrimination on education facility provided to son and daughters. Each parents should be accountable to provide equal opportunity to their children on the basis of equal right to education, Minister Banskota said addressing to the fifth district children’s assembly organized by District Children Club Network, Kavrepalanchowk.
Minister Banskota also stressed on that education is the only boom to pave the way for further life and so is the reason proper education is must to each child. At the same time, outer knowledge should gradually be inculcated so that children can handle themselves properly in the present context. He also said that Non government organizations are running for facilitation of society.
Moreover, the Minister reminded that constitution has fully guaranteed human rights where right to child and women are incorporated. “I strongly urge everyone not to criticize government only, but to implement constitution well,” he stressed. He further complained that the recent deviation in the society is worrying of late.
On the occasion, State 3 Assembly member Chandra Lama said it is time to move ahead with the internalization of sensitivity of geopolitics. Various persons contributing to child rights were honoured at the programme.
