Former Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Baskota has filed a case of defamation moving to a court on Friday.
Baskota registered the case at Kathmandu District Court against Bijaya Prasad Mishra who leaked audio of him demanding Rs 70 million in commission over procurement of security printing press.
“I filed the case demanding justice as false accusations have been leveled against me,” former Minister Baskota said.
Prior to this, former Minister Baskota had resigned following the audio scandal.
