Today’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has unanimously endorsed the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2075.
The bill was tabled by Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit in the meeting seeking its approval. Minister Pundit had responded to the queries raised by the lawmakers on the bill.
He also clarified that the bill was not against the spirit of the federalism. The bill was prepared realizing the need of the hour in the changed context after the new federal system was adopted in the country for the first time, Pundit said.
Lawmakers Ganga Chaudhary Satgauwa, Asha Kumari BK, Rekha Sharma, Rajendra Kumar KC, Ram Kumari Jhakri, Parbati Kumari Bishunkhe among others had raised the queries on the provision of the bill.
The meeting also has sent the Nepal Police and Province Police bills to the respective committee for clause wise discussions.
