First time Pesapallo game in Nepal

Players from the different academy are seen training in handball ground of Kapan. Students from Brainland academy, peak point academy, Apex school, Eureka high school, Tamakoshi high school and horizon school of Jhapa are participating in this Pesapallo championship which is the first time hosting in Nepal

Before tournament Suha Antikawen international vice chairman from Finland is providing training to players.

The principal of peak point academy Binaya Shrestha who is also vice president of this association informed to our media that This game is the first time held in Kathmandu.

He also added the trail of this game will also be organized in other districts of Nepal for more development of this game According to Shrestha the south Asian Pesapallo championship is going to be held from January 18 to 19  in Sano Gaucharan.

Pesapallo is the national game of Finland and it is quite popular in Europe. The game which looks as similar to baseball has 12 players, 9 on defense and  12 on offense.
