Five people have died of a seasonal flu outbreak in Masidhara village of Humla in the past two weeks.
The deceased have been identified as Madan Shah, 45, Janu Kala Shah, 50, Dati Ram Sarki, 65, Gori Sarki, 60, and Pyauri Shahi, 60, of Chankheli Rural Municipality-6.
As shared by Kali Bahadur Budha, Coordinator of Health Division of the rural municipality, the patients of seasonal flu have been increased in the district.
“Among the patients, elders are mostly being affected,” he added.
