Fellowship has been granted to five journalists of Ilam with a view to promoting agriculture marketing of ginger, cardamom, tea and milk products.
The journalists have been offered the fellowship to produce features and in-depth stories about accountable and responsible entrepreneurship, rights and entrepreneur good governance towards promoting commercial agriculture.
Among the fellowship recipients is Santosh Nembang of Ilam Post Daily, Yam Mawohang of Avenues Television, Bandana Rai of Chiyabari FM, Sujata Sunuwar of Ujyalo Radio Network and Gyanu Kedem of Maisebung Monthly Newspaper.
The Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Nationalities Journalists (FONIJ) has granted Rs 30,000 each to the journalists under the fellowship programme.
The funding for the fellowship programme was provided by the Danish Embassy.
