Former British Ambassador to Nepal Richard Morris missing since May 6

Former British Ambassador to Nepal, Richard Charles Morris has been missing since May 6, and major search is underway in the village of Bentley, Farnham and its surrounding areas.

Reports said Richard, who had gone for a run has not been seen since May 6, 2020.

Richard was the Ambassador to Nepal from November 2015 to November 2019.

Before that he had worked as the Head of Pacific Department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2013 to 2015.

He was the Consul General in Sydney and Director General Trade and Investment (Australasia) between 2008 and 2012.

Before that, he served as Deputy Head of Mission and HM Consul General at the British Embassy in Mexico City.

The search continues with the assistance of Hampshire Search and Rescue, Hampshire Constabulary, Air Support, Dog Search and Rescue teams, according to uknip.co.uk.

Likewise, the UK Missing persons Bureau and other agencies are also involved due to Morris’s role. The government have been made aware about his missing.

Richard was born on 1 November 1967 in Worcestershire. According to reports, he loves long-distance running, travel, reading, music and spending time with his family.
