Former King Gyanendra Shah has donated Rs 20 million to COVID-19 Infection Prevention Fund in order to fight the corona virus.
Issuing a statement on Tuesday, Ex-king Shah said he has donated the amount to the government’s Coronavirus Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund through Himani Trust, a trust run by former Crown Princess Himani Shah.
In the statement, the former King has termed lockdown as a compulsory imperative to contain the spread of COVID-19 and has urged all to abide by it.
