With Coronavirus wreaking havoc across the world, the death toll from the novel virus has reached 102, 687 as of Saturday morning after 7,003 died in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with 93, 839 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 1, 697,533 so far. Currently, 1,218,737 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 49, 830 are critical.
Meanwhile, 376, 109 have recovered after treatment.
Italy, the worst-hit country in terms of deaths, has recorded the highest number of deaths with 18, 849 as of Saturday morning.
Reports said only 570 people died in the last 24 hours – less number of single day deaths compared to the previous days.
With 3, 951 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 147, 577. Currently, 98, 273 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country, of which 3, 497 are critical. Meanwhile, 30, 455 have returned home after recovery.
Similarly, the death toll in France has reached 13, 197 after 987 people died in a single day.
With 7, 120 new cases, the number of infection cases has climbed to 124, 869 so far, according to Worldometer.
Currently, 86,740 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 7, 004 are critical. Meanwhile, 24, 932 have returned home after treatment.
Likewise, the United Kingdom (UK) has registered 8, 958 deaths from Coronavirus after 980 died in the last 24 hours.
According to Worldometer, the number of infection cases has climbed to 73,758 after 8, 681 new cases were reported in a single day.
Currently, 64, 456 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical. Only 344 have recovered after treatment.
The United States of America (USA) has reported 18, 719 deaths from Coronavirus in the country after 2,037 died in a single day.
With 33, 483 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 502, 049.
Currently, 456, 051 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across America, of which 19, 916 are critical. A total of 27, 239 have recovered after treatment.
Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world as of Saturday morning.
