BUTWAL, April 29
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said that the government would adopt a zero-tolerance policy against corruption, adding that he would not let anyone indulge in it.
Addressing the provincial assembly of Province 5 in Butwal on Sunday, PM Oli also said the government had to face a big challenge while trying to break syndicate system and would make no comprise in taking steps against inappropriate practices causing inconveniences to the people.
During his first ever provincial assembly address, PM Oli also stated that his government would seek an aviation right from the Gautam Buddha International Airport with India adding he raised this issue during his recent visit to the southern neighbor.
On the same occasion, the PM remarked that the Province 5 could be more prosperous by utilizing the potential of tourist destinations including Lumbini in the state.
PM Oli also said that it was his pleasure to address the assembly meeting at the birthplace of Gautam Buddha.
According to PM Oli’s Press Coordinator Chetan Adhikari, the Prime Minister is also set to address the special function to be held in Lumbini on the occasion of the International Buddhist Conference and 2562nd Buddha Jayanti today itself.
PM’s address focused on the future agendas of provincial governments and assemblies bearing public concerns.
PM addressed the assembly when the Province Government now is moving towards the implementation of the budget after endorsing the annual policy, programme, and budget.
