Graduation to pass out students and Welcome of new students of W4-RUWON IT Training

Certificates have been distributed to students of free W4-RUWON IT training (She Can Digital) who have completed the 3 months foundational computer course organized by RUWON Nepal and supported by W4 France in Budanilkanatha Municipality-10.

The program was concluded with the Chief guest spokesperson and ward chair of Budanilkantha-10 Nabaraj Bhattarai, special guest Dhruba Prasad Ghimire the co-founder and editor of Pariwartan Khabar, and SMC chair of Bal Uddhar Secondary School. The computer training program was targeted towards the female youths who are deprived of access to information and technology. During the certificate distribution program, students were also distributed t-shirts and diary, and other gifts along with certificates.

President of RUWON Nepal and project coordinator Goma Devi Bastola shared that with the help of 15 modern technology computers, 30 young girls in two groups per day can be benefited by the training for three months. She also thanks W4 France for their full support for this program to make this possible for the young Nepalese girls.

Chief guest spokesperson and ward chair of Budanilkantha-10 Nabaraj Bhattarai shared that such training which is targeted at deprived young girls is very effective. He also stressed that such deeds of RUWON Nepal and W4 France should be continued in the future which is a very applaudable program for women’s empowerment. In the days to come, students who were trained by the program will be provided with the opportunities – Bhattarai shared.

Mr. Dhruba Prasad Ghimire, the co-founder, and editor of Pariwartan Khabar, and SMC chair of Bal Uddhar Secondary School facilitated the implementation of the free computer training program and the graduation/welcome ceremony shared that such a program with the support of W4 France and RUWON Nepal for young girls in need is so meaningful in the age of digital and technology world.   

The free W4-RUWON IT training center which is supported by the Women’s World Wide Web (W4) France and operated by Rural Women’s Network Nepal (RUWON Nepal) has been providing Foundational and Intermediate/Advanced training to young girls from different parts of the country.
