Bhaktapur, June 12
Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Park Young Sik, has said that the health service of Nepal is admirable.
On the occasion of ninth anniversary of Nepal-Korea Friendship Hospital, run by Madhyapur Thimi municipality, the Ambassador stressed that Nepal-Korea Friendship Hospital should develop its capacity in order to provide its service to the people of across the country.
He further said that it would help country’s economic development once health insurance programme brought by the government is made effective.
Saying the municipality has the determination to make the hospital as the country’s model hospital with 500-bed within next five years, Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi municipality, Madan Sundar Shrestha said that the hospital would run Nursing College as well as would increase service and facilities of hospital staffs.
Similarly, Executive Director of the Hospital, Prof Dr Gyan Krishna Kayastha, said that the hospital has been providing most of the health services through specialist doctors.
Letter of appreciation was presented to 56 blood donors on the occasion.
