Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said smartness in works of security bodies was vital when the country’s security situation was at a special juncture.
In his address to the convocation ceremony of the batch-2 Command and Staff training organised at the Armed Police Force’s Command and Staff College Sunday, the Home Minister said decision power of leadership and its effective implementation mattered crucial in the security to achieve expected a success.
The Minister insisted that people should get an opportunity to feel the change in the country, which is ensured through professional competency of the servants of the nation.
Congratulating APF Deputy Superintendent of Police who passed the training as the second batch of the college, the Home Minister said he was hopeful that security officers would successfully utilise their skills and knowledge they received during the training.
Tribhuvan University Vice Chancellor Prof Tirtharaj Khaniya and APF Inspector General Singha Bahadur Shrestha expressed hope that those who passed out training would utilise the learning of the training in their duty.
