The House of Representatives today has passed the Bill designed to amend Some Nepal Acts, 2075.
A proposal seeking passage of the bill was presented at the HoR meeting by Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal. Earlier, the meeting also approved unanimously a proposal seeking deliberations on the bill along with the report of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee.
Responding to queries raised during the deliberations, Minister Dhakal said the bill was essential to make the existing laws compatible to the new Constitution.
The HoR shall meet again at 3:00 pm on February 15, Friday
