CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that he faced a big challenge to award Nepal Army for the construction of Kathmandu-Tarai Fast-Track.
Inaugurating the Chandrapur Mahotsav in Rautahat on Monday, the former prime minister said that Janakpur-Birgunj Railway and International Airport in Nijgadh would be in the top priority of the government and termed the two projects as the base of development for Province No. 2.
He also revealed that the government was preparing to unveil additional projects for the development religious tourism in Janakpur, Pashupatinath and Lumbini.
On the occasion, lawmaker Binod Chaudhary said that the government should begin industrial revolution for nation’s development.
He also announced to construct Chaudhary Park in Province No. 2 if the government invests for industrial sector in the province. He also pledged to establish industries from Chaudhary Group in Chandrapur city area and create employment opportunities.
