Laxmi Hundai Manang Marsyangdi Club defeated Sahara Football Club Pokhara in a tie breaker to enter the semi-finals of the 3rd Rum Pum Gold Club Football Tournament.
In the quarter-final match held at the Domlal Rajbansi Stadium in Birtamode today, MMC defeated Sahara by 5-3. The match was decided through a penalty shootout after it ended in a goalless draw in the regulated time of play.
MMC’s Anjan Bista was declared the man-of-the-match, winning him Rs. 25,000 in cash.
Tomorrow, Rum Pum Jhapa-11 will face Sikkim United for a place in the last four.
