The Karnali Province Government has decided to endorse a draft Bill outlined to arrange remuneration along with perks and benefits of the State Assembly office-bearers and members with amendments.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers of Karnali Province on Saturday decided to endorse the draft with amendment before presenting it to the State Assembly meeting.
Province Government Spokesperson and Minister for Cooperative Bimala KC informed that the meeting had principally agreed to entrust the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law with the responsibility to formulate the bill on perks and benefits of Karnali Province Local Level Office-Bearers and Members-2075 BS.
Likewise, the Internal Affairs Ministry is given the responsibility for formulating bill on remuneration and facilities of the chief minister of Karnali Province-2075 BS. The meeting decided to designate the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative to outline Provincial Cooperative Act-2075 BS, informed Spokesperson KC.
