Chief Minister of Karnali Province Mahendra Bahadur Shahi is seeking a vote of confidence from the Provincial Parliament Tuesday.
The parliament secretariat has stated that he will face the vote of confidence in the 5th meeting of the state assembly tomorrow.
According to CPN (Maoist Centre) chief whip Seeta Nepali, MC and CPN (UML) had issued a whip all the members to be present and cast their vote for the government led by CM Shahi.
There are 40 lawmakers in the province. The UML has 20 members, MC has 13 and Nepali Congress has six lawmakers in the province.
A single lawmaker representing Rastriya Prajatantra Party had also supported the government while its formation.
As per the constitutional provision, the Chief Minister should take a vote of confidence from the provincial parliament within 30 days of being elected to the office
