
Kathmandu, March 28
The Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu has announced the ‘Kathmandu Police Award’.
The monthly award financially supported by the Nepal Bangladesh Bank will be presented to six staffs of the Range from junior to deputy superintendent-level on the basis of their work performance. The Bank has assisted Rs 1.86 million to the Range for the funds management of the award. The cash prize of the award ranges from Rs 10,000 (for police constable) to Rs 50,000 (for SSP).
Range Chief Bishwaraj Pokhrel and Bank chief executive Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana signed on an agreement paper to this regard on behalf of their respective sides amidst a programme here today. The Range hopes that the award will obviously motivate police personnel to perform well. According to bank chief executive Dhungana, the assistance for award was ensured under the bank’s social responsibility scheme.
