As many as 809 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 615 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 69 in Bhaktapur, and 125 in Lalitpur.
With this Kathmandu has got 87,893 cases of coronavirus till date. Out of which, 375 patients have succumbed to death, whereas 80,248 have recovered from the pandemic.
Similarly, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 13,274 till date in Lalitpur. Out of which, 11,710 have returned home after recovery. The district has seen 112 deaths so far.
Likewise, 91 people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus pandemic in Bhaktapur district. The district coronavirus case tally has reached 7,227 till today.
Meanwhile, 1,474 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 233,452 with fresh cases as of Monday afternoon.
A total of 1,931 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 214,521 in the country.
Nepal currently has 17,423 active cases.
Likewise, 535 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
As many as 29 people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death tally in the country to 1,508, the Ministry confirmed.
A total of 433 COVID-19 patients in Nepal are undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and ventilator support. A total of 375 patients are in ICU and 58 on ventilator support.
According to the Ministry of Health, 32 persons are undergoing treatment in ICU in Province 1, four in Province 2, 159 in Bagmati Province, 94 in Gandaki Province, 72 in Lumbini Province, nine in Karnali Province, and five in Sudurpaschim Province.
A total of six in Province 1, one in Province 2, 35 in Bagmati, 11 in Gandaki Province, three in Lumbini and two in Sudurpaschim Province are on ventilator support.
Meanwhile, out of 17,423 active COVID-19 cases, 11,814 people are in home isolation.
According to the Ministry of Health, 1,702 people in Province 1 are in home isolation, 333 in Province 2, 7,541 in Bagmati, 856 in Gandaki, 889 in Lumbini, 116 in Karnali, and 377 in Sudurpaschim Province.
