In the National Assembly meeting on Wednesday, National Assembly (NA) member Komal Oli has asked the government’s perception about Ram Bahadur Bomjon, who is known as Little Buddha. She directly asked why Ram Bahadur Bomjon, has not been arrested yet.
Speaking during the zero hour in the parliament she stated that Bomjon should be arrested and investigated now that the victim has come out alleging rape and the media are publishing so many news reports. She added that Mr. Bomjon called himself as a little Buddha but there are many proofs that he did misbehave to our daughters and sisters. Why is not he still arrested? ‘MP Oli asked.
She also asked to the Home Minister that Why the Nepal police is not arrest him?
In reply to MP Oli, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa said that the government is not taking this incident as an easy step. “The Government has taken this incident seriously,” he said. Thapa also informed the National Assembly that the government is investigating in this case.
“In fact it is a serious matter, the government is investigating on its behalf about the little Buddha,” he said.
