A man has died after being squashed by a bus at Duwakot of Changunarayan Municipality-1 in Bhaktapur on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Bhim Tamang, 35, of Changunarayan Municipality-1.
The incident happened when the disastrous bus, Ba 1 Kha 9090, back-tracked and fell onto the house of Tamang. The bus was heading upwards along Saraswatikhel-Khadka Tole road section in Duwakot on Saturday morning.
According to District Police Office, Bhaktapur, Tamang was taking food when he was crushed by the bus.
However, police shared that other passengers travelling in the bus are safe.
Police has taken the driver under control while investigation is going on after the ill fated bus is taken.
