A man who has been put in isolation at Nepalgunj Medical College has died on Saturday.
As shared by Dr. Roman Kidwai at the hospital, Ishrael Behana of Gulariya, Bardiya who was a patient of asthma died while undergoing treatment.
He was kept in the Intensive Care Unit for the past two days.
Dr. Kidwai said they are preparing to take a swab sample of the deceased to check if he was infected with COVID-19.
COVID-19 suspects have been kept in isolation at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj Medical College and Kohalpur Medical College in the district.
No COVID-19 positive cases have been found in the district so far.
