Brief rain and thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds and hail is possible at some places in the country on Sunday- shared the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
In weather bulletin issued for today, it has predicted generally cloudy throughout the country.
According to MFD, brief rain and thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds and hail is possible at some places of the central and western regions and at a few places of the eastern region tonight.
Currently, the country is under the influence of westerly winds, local winds and low-pressure area formed near the eastern part of the country and water vapor is entering Nepal from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, according to the met office.
MFD has requested to take necessary precautions as there is a possibility of thunderstorm, lightning and hail in some parts of the country and strong winds in the western and eastern Terai in the next 24 hours.
