Miss Nepal World Shrinkhala Khatiwada appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for the commemorative events marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and France. The letter of appointment was handed over to Khatiwada jointly by Secretary General of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs Gourdault- Montagne and Foreign Secretary of Nepal, Shankar Das Bairagi on January 9, 2019.
Her association with the anniversary is expected to express the voice of the young Nepali generation and civil society and to rejuvenate the image of Nepal: one that embodies a young Nepal, creative Nepal, educated Nepal, globalized Nepal and which offers opportunities to women. Khatiwada is also expected to convey a message of goodwill, co-operation and friendship between Nepal and France as stated in the joint press release issued by the two countries.
She is also working for the country regarding politics and youth intervention in the government and making then aware of the sensitive global issues taking place all over the world. She is also expected to spread the Nepali warmth and smile in France and help reach newer and broader public from various walks of life other than political and institutional.
