Kathmandu, March 2
The Municipal Association of Nepal (MuAN), Province-3 committee has demanded that the temporary capital of Province-3 be kept at a convenient place, citing the present place was not convenient.
Hetauda in Makawanpur district is the present temporary capital of the Province-3.
Committee coordinator Bharat Bahadur KC demanded in a press release he issued today that the Province capital should be shifted to a place which is convenient in terms of geography and accessibility.
The committee has also objected to the order of precedence recently fixed by the government, saying it disrespected the mayor and the deputy mayor, and the ward chairperson and deputy chairperson of the municipalities. It called on the government to correct the order of precedence.
