Kathmandu, April 24
Nepal Academy of Music and Drama (NAMUDA) has announced the “Nepal Music and Drama National Academy Prize-2074 BS.”
The award carrying a purse of Rs 100,000 and a copper plaque each will be given in various six genres. Ramaawatar Yadav (drama), senior lyricist Kiran Kharel (music), senior dancer Subhadra Adhikari (dance), senior folksinger Laxmi Prasad Joshi (singing), singer Pushpa Ratna Tuladhar (classical and traditional music), senior theater artist Madan Das Shrestha (theatre art) have been selected for the award.
The awards will be presented on the occasion of the Academy’s eighth anniversary.
