Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha has been elected National Assembly (NA) member on Thursday.
Shrestha received 3,462 votes while his closet contester Surya Prasad Regmi of Nepali Congress (NC) got 2,244 votes.
Shrestha got elected to the Upper House under the ‘others’ category from Gandaki Province.
Similarly, Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader Bhagwati Neupane has been elected National Assembly (NA) member from Gandaki Province on Thursday.
Neupane got elected under the women’s category receiving 3,366 votes. She defeated Bimala Gauchhan of the Nepali Congress (NC) by a margin of 1,020 votes.
Gauchhan received 2,340 votes.
