Nepal Communist Party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal has inaugurated the newly-constructed ‘Umbrella Street’ at Bharatpur metropolis-22, Patihani in Chitwan.
Inaugurating the Street, Dahal expressed the hope that the street would further help in the development and expansion of tourism in Patihani.
As shared by the ward chairperson Bishnu Raj Mahato, the street stretched over around 10 kattha land constructed at the cost of Rs 30 million.
As many as 480 colorful umbrellas have been set up in the street.
The mosaic umbrellas have added beauty to the area. The Patihani food festival has also been organized here to promote the umbrella street and local foods.
The festival has 20 stalls.
