The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has concluded to name Province-3 Bagmati Province.
A Secretariat meeting of the ruling NCP held at the official residence of prime minister at Baluwatar on Sunday morning also concluded to pick Hetauda as the permanent capital of the province.
“An agreement has been reached to name Province-3 Bagmati Province. A decision has been made to direct the State committee and State Assembly Parliamentary Party to that end,” said a Secretariat member.
The Province government had failed to fix its name and capital even after two years of its formation.
