A secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) today directed the related committees to send the review report on the by-election held recently to the House of Representatives member, the State Assembly member and the local level office-bearers.
The secretariat meeting held at the Party’s Central Office at Dhumrabarahi this morning under the chairmanship of party chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda). The next meeting of the Secretariat is scheduled for December 9. ‘The next meeting will formally review the by-elections,’ said Narayan Kaji Shrestha, spokesperson of the party.
According to him, the same meeting will discuss on the remaining works related to the organization and the meeting of the Standing Committee and the Central Committee, among other topics.
Today’s meeting has also passed the proposal wishing for the speedy recovery to Prime Minister and party chair KP Sharma Oli who is recuperating at the Manmohan Cardiothoracic and Vascular Transplant Center at Maharajgunj in Kathmandu after undergoing surgery for appendicitis.
This is the first secretariat meeting held after the NCP picked Dahal as the executive chairman of the party after the NCP Secretariat Meeting held on November 20 earlier.
Likewise, the next meeting will discuss the remaining works related to the organization as well as the meeting of the Standing Committee and the Central Committee.
