The Secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party has commenced at the Official Residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on Sunday morning.
According to the PM’s press advisor Surya Thapa, contemporary issues relating to politics and election of the new Speaker of the House of Representatives are being discussed during the meeting.
The Standing Committee meeting of the party last week had also given the authority to the Secretariat to decide on the MCC ( Millennium Corporation Challenge) funding to be provided to Nepal by the US government. This matter will also feature during the meeting.
