Kathmandu, April 27
A delegation from the Nepal Srashta Samaj (Nepal Creative Writers’ Society-NCWS) has today left for Dhaka of Bangladesh to participate in the Nepal-Bangladesh Bilateral Special Literary and Cultural Interactive Programme.
The two-day programme is taking place in Dhaka from April 28.
The delegation left here at the cordial invitation of Bangladesh-Nepal Friendship Association has comprised society chairperson Pawan Aalok, senior journalist and Nepal Literary Journalists Association chair Nagendra Raj Sharma, society members Saraswoti Sharma ‘Jigyashu’, Nawaraj Pudasaini ‘Jyotsana’, noted poet Manjul, and litterateur Sushmita Nepal, the society said.
Cooperation between society and literary organisations in Bangladesh on the issues of literary and cultural exchanges has been in place since the past 10 years.
Likewise, various Nepali literary creations have been translated into the Bengali language and vice-versa in this period.
