Nepal confirms seven more COVID-19 cases, tally reaches 109

Nepal has reported seven more new coronavirus infection cases on Saturday morning. With this, the number of  coronavirus  cases tally reaches to 109.

According to Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari, Joint Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, three women aged 18, 45, and 65 of Udyapur, Bhulke have been diagnosed with the novel virus.

Similarly, the remaining four diagnosed with the virus are men aged 17, 18, 18 of Kapilvastu and 62 of Parsha, Chhapkaiya.

Their swabs samples were tested at Koshi Zonal Hospital in Biratanagar and National Public Health Laboratory, Teku, according to the Ministry.

Earlier, on Friday, one new COVID-19 case had been confirmed in Nepalgunj.
