Nepal reports 114 new COVID-19 cases, tally reaches 886

With Nepal reporting 114 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, the number of coronavirus positive cases have reached 886 in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, new cases were seen districts, including Baglung, Rautahat, Jhapa, Makawanpur, Saptari, Mahottari, Bara, Rautahat, Siraha, Dhanusha, Banke, Kapilvastu, Arghakhanchi, Gulmi, Rupandehi, Kailali, Achham, Syangja and Surkhet districts.

As many as 35 people have tested positive in Rautahat district on Wednesday. Likewise, Jhapa reported 17 news cases today. Dang reported 15 new cases, Baglung 6, Bara 8, Saptari 11, Surkhet 15, Banke 16, Siraha 2, and Rukum East 3.

Meanwhile, a total of 28 have been discharged from various hospitals on Tuesday and Wednesday. With this, the total number of discharged after recovery has reached 183 so far.

So far, coronavirus has been spread to 46 districts.

Likewise, as many as 70,305 people are in different quarantines, and 699 are in isolation across the country.

A total of four people have died of coronavirus in Nepal so far.
