Nepal has reported 425 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, with the addition of the cases, total cases in Nepal have reached 5,760.
Speaking at a regular press briefing on Sunday, Spokesperson at the Ministry, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that among the newly-infected are 375 male and 50 female.
In the last 24 hours, 133,377 samples have been tested through PCR, said Spokesperson Dr. Gautam.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 309,914 samples have been tested for coronavirus in Nepal so far. Of these, 121,862 samples were tested through the PCR and 188,052 through the RDT.
Meanwhile, 974 COVID-19 patients, including 97 females and 877 males have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
At present, 4,767 people are in isolation and 143641 are in quarantines across the country.
