Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 22

Two COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at the Seti Provincial Hospital in Kailali and Kohalpur-based Medical College in Banke have died on Wednesday.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country so far has reached 22, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said during a press briefing on Thursday.

He was undergoing treatment at the hospital’s ICU.

Likewise, a woman died while undergoing treatment at the Kohalpur-based Medical College in Banke district.

She died on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Hospital sources said she had a head injury.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Sudurpaschim Province has reached 4.
